About the game: AquaNox is the 2001 first person submarine shooter from German studio Massive Development, published by Fishtank Interactive/Ravensburger — the sequel to Archimedean Dynasty (1996). Set in 2661, humanity lives in underwater cities split into power blocs (Atlantic Federation, Arabic Clans Union, Russo-Japanese Shogunate, Tornado Zone), and you play mercenary Emerald "Dead Eye" Flint piloting a combat submarine through roughly 30 story driven missions against hostile vessels, pirates and alien Bionts. It was a high profile graphics showcase of 2001, used by NVIDIA to demonstrate the new GeForce 3, praised for atmosphere and visuals. This is the French language big box edition.
