About the game: Chessmaster 9000 is a 2002 chess program developed and published by Ubi Soft for Windows. It combines a strong chess engine with deep teaching tools, including a Psychology of Competition course by International Master Josh Waitzkin, an Endgame Quiz by Grandmaster Larry Evans and the new Blunder Alert feature. Grandmaster Larry Christiansen famously played four exhibition matches against the game in September 2002.
