Conan: The Cimmerian (1991) — IBM PC CD-ROM, Virgin Games
About the game: Conan: The Cimmerian is a 1991 action adventure with RPG elements developed by Synergistic Software and published by Virgin Games for Amiga and MS-DOS. You play Conan as a blacksmith in Cimmeria, out for revenge on the raiders who killed his wife, on a trail that leads to the wizard Thoth-Amon, high priest of the Cult of Set. Computer Gaming World praised it for making Conan "a creature of flesh and blood", and it remains one of the better regarded video game takes on Robert E. Howard's barbarian.
