Despatch Rider Atari 800 XL 130 XE 5.25 Disk Mastertronic Entertainment USA 1985
$15.00
Despatch Rider
Despatch Rider is a budget arcade strategy game written by Tim Huntington and released by Mastertronic in 1985. This copy is the American diskette edition, sold in the United States on Mastertronic's Entertainment USA label for the Atari 800XL and 130XE. You are a despatch rider with one twelve hour shift, from 07.00 to 19.00, to make as much money as possible. Ride the city collecting packages from one address and delivering them to another, firing the parcels through open doors and catching the ones dropped to you from office windows. The screen is split three ways: a route map of the whole city, a display panel with the clock, your wallet and the fuel gauge, and a close up view of the square you occupy. Watch the weather, mind the traffic, and keep the petrol tank topped up at the four fuel stations, because time is money and the shift ends at 19.00 sharp.
