Driver: You Are the Wheelman (1999) — PC Big Box
About the game: Driver is the 1999 action driving game from Reflections Interactive, published by GT Interactive for PC in October 1999 (the PlayStation version launched that June). You play undercover cop John Tanner as he infiltrates a criminal getaway driving outfit across four real cities (Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York), inspired by the cinematic car chases of 1970s films. It was a commercial hit that pioneered open world driving gameplay and launched a series that sold over 20 million units before Ubisoft acquired it in 2006.
