Falcon 3.0 (1991) Spectrum Holobyte DOS PC - 5.25″ Disks

Falcon 3.0 (1991) — Spectrum HoloByte, DOS PC, 5.25 inch Disks

About the game: The third main entry in the Falcon series of F-16 Fighting Falcon simulators, developed by Sphere Inc. and published by Spectrum HoloByte for MS-DOS in 1991. Set in fictional wars in Iraq, Israel and Panama with a dynamic campaign engine (limited pilots, aircraft and weapons that replenish) plus a Red Flag training simulation in Nevada, it was among the most technically ambitious flight sims of its era. This listing is the 1.2 MB 5.25 inch disk USA and Canada release. Trivia: its high fidelity flight mode claimed to use flight dynamics from a real military simulator and required a math coprocessor; the recommended machine was a 33 MHz 486, top end hardware in 1991.
