Fields of Glory Big Box PC 3.5 Inch Spectrum HoloByte Napoleonic Wargame

Fields of Glory: The Battlefield Action and Leadership Game is a real-time Napoleonic wargame created by MicroProse and published in North America by Spectrum HoloByte. It recreates the Waterloo campaign of June 1815: take command of the Anglo-Allied, French or Prussian armies and fight the battles that decided the fate of Europe, from small engagements up to Waterloo and Ligny. You control thousands of troops on colourful VGA battlefields with a point and click interface, issuing orders against the clock while the battle rages, and the built in Waterloo Campaign Database gives instant information on your troops and generals. The game was praised on release by David Chandler, Head of War Studies at Sandhurst, for capturing the colour and excitement of Napoleonic warfare. Requires an IBM 16MHz 80386 or faster, 2MB RAM, DOS 5.0, VGA graphics and a mouse; supports Ad Lib, Sound Blaster and Roland sound.
