**Get Medieval — 1998, PC, French Big Box Edition**

About the game: Get Medieval is a 1998 hack and slash dungeon crawler developed and published by Monolith Productions (the studio behind Blood and Shogo, later F.E.A.R.) and released in Europe by Microïds. A clear homage to the 1985 arcade classic Gauntlet, it offers four playable heroes, 40 levels across three modes (Dragon Quest, Random Dungeon and Custom Dungeon), hotseat and network multiplayer, and a GMedit level editor. The French release is known for its tongue in cheek marketing, including joke testimonials on the box.
