Grim Fandango (Big Box PC CD-ROM Collection LucasArts 1998) French Français

Grim Fandango — 1998, PC CD-ROM, Big Box, Collection LucasArts, French Edition

About the game: Grim Fandango is a 1998 adventure game developed and published by LucasArts, directed by Tim Schafer, and the studio's first adventure to use 3D graphics over pre-rendered backgrounds. It follows travel agent Manuel “Manny” Calavera in a film noir Land of the Dead inspired by Aztec afterlife beliefs, as he tries to help the virtuous Mercedes “Meche” Colomar on her journey to the Ninth Underworld. Acclaimed for its art design and writing and often listed among the greatest games ever made, it was a commercial failure that helped end LucasArts adventure game development.
