King's Quest V (1991) Sierra MS-DOS 5.25"HD VGA - Big Box - French Français

King's Quest V (1990/1991) — Sierra, MS-DOS 5.25" HD VGA, Big Box, French Version

About the game: King's Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder is the landmark 1990 adventure by Roberta Williams at Sierra On-Line (listed here as 1991), winner of Computer Gaming World's 1991 Adventure Game of the Year. It was the first Sierra adventure with 256 color VGA graphics (hand drawn scanned backgrounds) and the first King's Quest to replace the text parser with a point and click icon interface — a title that sold VGA cards and later CD-ROM drives. King Graham returns from a walk to find Castle Daventry stolen by the cloaked wizard Mordack, and with the talking owl Cedric travels to Serenia to rescue his family. This is the French language edition on 5.25" HD floppies.
