About the game: A fantasy board game published by GameTek in 1993 and set in Norse mythology as the god Odin takes earthly form to pit the kingdom's sharpest minds against each other in preparation for the battle of Ragnarok. It is a computer implementation of hnefatafl, the ancient Viking board game: one side defends Odin as he escapes to a corner of the board while the attackers close in, playable against the computer or a friend with twelve different god opponents. The CD-ROM edition adds animated sequences and digitized art, and the box includes English, French, German and Italian text.
