CONDITION

Box shows honest shelf wear consistent with a 35-year-old big box

PC game. The blue marble artwork has surface scuffing and light fading in areas. Corner splits are visible on the bottom edges.

The EAD (Electronic Arts Distribution) gold sticker is present on the front cover. Overall the box displays well from a normal viewing distance.

All contents are present and in very good condition.

ABOUT THE GAME

LOOM is a 1990 fantasy point-and-click adventure designed by Brian Moriarty and published by Lucasfilm Games. It stands as one of the most artistically distinct adventure games of its era,

replacing the traditional verb-based interface with a musical spellweaving system called the Distaff.

You play as Bobbin Threadbare, a young Weaver on a quest to save his Guild and prevent a cosmic catastrophe.

This IBM PC release supports VGA, EGA, CGA, and MCGA graphics, as well as AdLib and CMS sound cards. Comes on six 5.25 inch disks as factory issued. The included Dolby Stereo cassette is a

30-minute audio drama produced at Lucasfilm's Sprocket Systems, providing backstory and setting the tone before you even launch the game. This version was distributed by Electronic Arts Distribution (EAD), identifiable by the gold diamond sticker on the front cover.

WHAT MAKES THIS COPY NOTABLE

Fully complete with all original inserts, the cassette tape, and the distinctive Book of Patterns. Many copies sold today are missing the cassette or the red gel card. Both are present here.
