Microcosm (1994) By Psygnosis Big Box PC CD-ROM French Français

Microcosm (1994) — Psygnosis, Big Box PC CD-ROM, French

About the game: An FMV rail shooter developed and published by Psygnosis, originally released in 1993 for FM Towns and ported to MS-DOS in Europe in 1994; this is the French edition of that DOS release. Psygnosis marketed it as the first title in a new 'interactive cinema' category of CD-ROM games, with pre rendered animation created on Silicon Graphics workstations. The player pilots a microscopic craft through the body of corporate mogul Tiron Korsby, blasting viruses and enemy probes. Trivia: the score was composed in part by Rick Wakeman, and the disc included bonus audio tracks playable on any CD player.
