Microsoft Flight Simulator 5.1 Big Box PC CD-ROM Complete Pilot Handbook

Microsoft Flight Simulator, Version 5.1, is the 1995 CD-ROM edition of the longest running flight simulation series in PC history, published by Microsoft under its Microsoft Home label. Under the slogan "As Real As It Gets," version 5 put fully 3D rendered aircraft and scenery on the DOS PC, and 5.1 refined it: fly a Cessna 182RG in land or floatplane trim, a twin engine Mooney Bravo, a WWI Sopwith Camel biplane, or an Extra 300S aerobatic mount. Scenery is generated continuously as you fly anywhere on earth, with changing weather and day or dusk lighting, and the series' famous flight model and instrument panels reward real stick and rudder skill. The Pilot's Handbook included here is a proper flight school in print, covering instruments, navigation and weather.
