Midwinter Amiga Big Box Complete MicroPlay 1989

Midwinter for Commodore Amiga, Big Box Edition

MicroPlay Software, Masters of Strategy Series, 1989. Developed by Maelstrom, marketed by MicroProse.

A new Ice Age has gripped the world and Midwinter Isle is the last habitable refuge on Earth. Command up to 32 characters, each with their own personality and attributes, and defend 160,000 square miles of fractal generated, light sourced 3D terrain against an invading army. Travel by ski, hang glider, snow buggy or cable car while sniping, sabotaging and recruiting allies. Designed by Mike Singleton, Midwinter remains one of the most ambitious and influential open world strategy games of the 16 bit era.
