Odium (1999) — Big Box PC Game, Windows 95/98

About the game: Developed by Metropolis Studios in Poland and published by Monolith Productions in North America in 1999 (released as Gorky 17 everywhere else in the world). Odium is a turn based tactical RPG: lead three soldiers through the bombed out Polish city codenamed Gorky 17, exploring in real time and fighting mutants in turn based isometric battles. It matters as one of the first notable Polish games to reach North America, a cult tactical RPG with pre rendered backgrounds in the style of Final Fantasy VII. Trivia: the box defines the title as "n. def., hate coupled with disgust."
