Operation Flashpoint, Cold War Crisis (2001) — PC Big Box
About the game: The landmark tactical military shooter developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio and published by Codemasters in 2001. Set on the fictional islands of Everon, Malden and Kolgujev during a 1985 Cold War gone hot, it drops players into large scale combined arms combat as infantry, tank crew or helicopter pilot, with one shot kills and open mission design that were revolutionary at the time. It launched the studio that would go on to create the Arma series and defined realistic military simulation on PC.
