Original War (2001) PC RTS Real Time Strategy Game

Original War (2001) — Small Box PC CD-ROM

About the game: Original War is a 2001 real time strategy game developed by Czech studio Altar Interactive and published by Virgin Interactive. It is built around a time travel device that sends soldiers two million years into the past, and it stands out in the genre by giving every soldier a name and persistent experience across a non linear branching campaign. Its blend of RTS tactics with role playing character development earned it a lasting cult following, and it was later re released under the Sold Out budget label and on Good Old Games.
