Original War PC CD-ROM FR Edition DVD Case Altar Virgin Interactive 2001

Original War (PC CD-ROM, 2001)

Whoever controls the past is master of the future. Original War is the real time strategy game with role playing elements from Altar Interactive, published by Virgin Interactive in 2001.

Russia is in turmoil but unknowingly holds a deposit of a mineral that could let it rule the world. That mineral, Siberite, is a catalyst used in the cold fusion process. The United States knows Siberite exists and has no intention of ever letting it fall into Russian hands. Take command of the American Marines on a one way trip into the past to recover the Siberite and bring it back to American territory, or lead the Russian troops back in time to defend what is theirs. Whichever side you choose, watch out for the Arab mercenaries, who want only one thing: destroy the Siberite. Lead and train your team of soldiers, mechanics, engineers and scientists. Build your own vehicles. Turn your base into a high tech citadel. Seize your opponents' technologies and resources. Multiplayer games over the Internet or a local network. Choose your side: Russian troops, American Marines or Arab mercenaries. And think before you act: your decisions can change the course of History.
