Return of the Phantom (1993) — PC Big Box, MicroProse Players Choice

About the game: A point and click graphic adventure developed by MPS Labs and published by MicroProse in 1993, the second graphic adventure from the studio after Rex Nebular and before Dragonsphere, this copy being the later Players Choice budget reissue. It was designed and written by Raymond Benson, later the official James Bond novelist, and adapts Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel The Phantom of the Opera. When a chandelier crashes during a modern production of Don Juan Triumphant, detective Raoul Montand investigates, is thrown back in time to 1881 and must navigate the opera house's labyrinth of catacombs to stop the Phantom and save Christine Daae. The CD version features full voice acting and 256 color painted backdrops.
