SHADOW CASTER (1993) BIG BOX PC MS-DOS 3.5" French - English - German - European

Shadow Caster (1993) — Big Box PC MS-DOS, 3.5 inch, French/English/German

About the game: A first person action RPG developed by Raven Software and published by Origin Systems in 1993 for MS-DOS. The player is Kirt, a shapeshifter who unlocks new creature forms (cat like beast, floating gazer, dragon) via obelisks. It is notable as Raven Software's second ever release and for running on a heavily modified Wolfenstein 3D engine licensed from id Software, with texture mapped floors and ceilings and variable wall heights that were advanced for 1993. Trivia: the game was designed by brothers Brian and Steve Raffel, the founders of Raven Software, and shipped on eight 3.5 inch floppy disks. This is the European trilingual edition on 3.5 inch floppy disks.
