Skyfox II: The Cygnus Conflict

Skyfox II: The Cygnus Conflict is a space combat simulation designed by Jeff Tunnell and programmed by Kevin Ryan at Dynamix, published by Electronic Arts in 1987. It is the sequel to Skyfox, and it moves the fight off a single planet and into deep space. The orders printed inside this folder say it plainly: Federation Headquarters, Terra, to Federation Headquarters, Deneb, Cygnus. Condition Alert. Hostile Xenomorph encounters expected. Report to starbase for your Skyfox II warp fighter and resolve with extreme prejudice. Your fighter carries a Neutron Disruptor, Photon Pulse Bombs and Anti Matter Mines, with a faster than light communicator and scan monitor tying you to the starbase, and the war plays out across a whole sector of star systems that you patrol, defend and strike through, not a single arena. The folder doubles as your briefing file, with the Warpwarrior dispatch and the full Skyfox II blueprint printed inside. This copy is the Commodore 64 and 128 version in the original Electronic Arts album folder, complete with the Technical Reference manual, the game disk, the Warpwarrior Eyes Only card and the Dynamix registration postcard.
