About the game: A real time strategy game by The Bitmap Brothers, published by Eon Digital Entertainment in North America and released June 15, 2001 (known as Z: Steel Soldiers in Europe). The sequel to 1996's Z, it is a humorous robot war where objectives are met by occupying territory rather than harvesting resources, set during broken peace talks between MegaCom and TransGlobal on Planet Rigal (plot by Martin Pond). It moved the series to full 3D and is one of the Bitmap Brothers' final releases. Trivia: the original Windows title was simply 'Steel Soldiers' in North America; the 'Z:' prefix was added for the European market and later digital re-releases.
