**Decisive Battles of WWII: The Ardennes Offensive — 1997, PC CD-ROM, Big Box**

About the game: Decisive Battles of WWII: The Ardennes Offensive is a 1997 computer wargame developed by Strategic Studies Group (SSG) and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) on June 9, 1997. It recreates the Battle of the Bulge, the December 1944 German offensive through the Ardennes, across eight scenarios from a tutorial to the full campaign, using SSG's Operational Land Combat System and its highly regarded AI. Though a modest commercial seller, it was critically acclaimed and launched the Decisive Battles of WWII series, followed by Korsun Pocket (2003) and Battles in Normandy (2004).
