About the game: The Last Express is a 1997 adventure game designed by Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia, developed by his studio Smoking Car Productions and published by Broderbund. You play Robert Cath, an American who boards the Orient Express from Paris to Constantinople in July 1914, days before World War I, and is pulled into a real time web of intrigue, romance, espionage and murder among the passengers. Famous for its art nouveau rotoscoped visuals, its non linear real time storytelling and its ambition, it earned rave reviews despite being a commercial disappointment.
