Ultima Collection CD-ROM Classics PC 1998 Complete In Box Fantasy RPG

Ultima Collection — CD-ROM Classics, PC 1998, Complete in Box

About the game: A single disc compilation by Origin Systems, published by Electronic Arts in February 1998 in preparation for Ultima IX: Ascension. It gathers the MS-DOS versions of Ultima I through Ultima VIII plus their expansion packs, and also includes Akalabeth (Richard Garriott's first game, in its first PC port), a 16 page atlas of the games' maps, and video interviews with Garriott. Ultima is the landmark Western RPG series that defined the genre's moral choice mechanics and persistent world storytelling. Trivia: the back of the box has a known typo, 'also know as Lord British', and the disc included a $10 rebate coupon for Ultima Online.
