UMS II: Nations at War (1990) — PC Big Box
About the game: A computer wargame developed by Ezra Sidran's Intergalactic Development and published by MicroProse (under its MicroPlay strategy label) in 1990 for MS-DOS. The sequel to The Universal Military Simulator, it is a "wargame construction kit" in the tradition of the genre, letting players simulate battles across history (Alexander the Great, Waterloo, D-Day) and build entire worlds with the included Planet Editor, with nation management, weather systems and naval operations layered over tactical combat. Amiga Power called it the most comprehensive battle simulator on any computer.
