About the game: UMS II: Nations at War is a 1990 grand strategy wargame developed by Intergalactic Development (designed by Ezra Sidran) and published by Rainbird, the sequel to 1987's Universal Military Simulator. It puts you in command of entire nations across three historical campaigns (Alexander the Great, Napoleon and the D-Day landings), blending battlefield tactics with nation management, politics, weather systems and accurately simulated military hardware. Contemporary reviewers called it the most comprehensive and complex battle simulator on any home computer.
