Versailles 1685, Complot a la Cour du Roi Soleil (1997) — PC Big Box, French

About the game: A historical 3D adventure by Cryo Interactive, jointly published with Canal+ Multimedia and the Réunion des Musées Nationaux in 1997, here in the original French release Versailles 1685, Complot à la Cour du Roi Soleil. You play Lalande, a young valet, who has a single day to unmask the pamphleteer threatening to burn down the palace of Louis XIV, exploring a faithful 360 degree reconstruction of Versailles with the Omni 3D engine. It was a genuine commercial hit, selling 500,000 units in Europe alone by 2000, and it was followed by Versailles II, Testament of the King.
