About the game: Developed by Activision and released in 1999, Call to Power is a turn based strategy game carrying on the Civilization tradition without Sid Meier's involvement, published on the Mac by MacSoft. Players build an empire from primitive beginnings all the way to the sci fi future of 3000 AD, researching technologies, founding cities and waging war across land, sea, air and even space. It introduced features like stacked combat and public works to the Civ formula and was one of the few major strategy titles of the era to get a full Macintosh release.
