Warrior Kings (PC CD-ROM, 2002)

The game that revolutionized 3D real time strategy! Warrior Kings is the real time strategy game from Black Cactus, published by Microïds in 2002.

A medieval fantasy world. Kingdoms facing off on a land where division reigns. Heir to a monarchy born from the ashes of battles of old, you must conquer and unite the nations into an empire ruled by one single Warrior King: you.

Warrior Kings revolutionizes the world of new generation 3D real time strategy. Create and train your army, manage your economy, raise grandiose monuments, lead espionage as you please. Wage war by besieging strong castles, by judiciously supplying your troops, or by strengthening your defensive positions.

Three very different destinies are offered to you. The Celestial path, steeped in mysticism; the Technological path, built on science; the Pagan path, made of brute force and powerful demons. Your development choices make every campaign unique, in an epic universe entirely in 3D that influences your tactics, with a rich scenario offering several possible endings, realistic resource management, hero evolution through the campaign, and varied environments from desert plains to lush regions and snowy peaks. Siege, ambushes, espionage, retreat, defense: multiple combat strategies, a great diversity of units and buildings, and unmatched tactical and strategic depth. Multiplayer on LAN or Internet for up to 8 players.

This is the French edition. The packaging text is in French.
