About the game: The third entry in Julian Gollop's X-COM series, developed by Mythos Games and published by MicroProse in 1997. Set in 2084 in Mega Primus, the last self contained city on an environmentally ravaged Earth, players command the X-COM forces against an alien incursion through real time or turn based tactical combat, interceptor dogfights, alien investigation and research, and a fully modeled 3D city viewed from multiple angles. It introduced the choice between real time and turn based combat modes, which fans still debate today, and rounded out the classic original trilogy alongside UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep.
