About the game: A space combat spin off of the X-COM series, developed and published by MicroProse in 1998. Set decades after X-COM: Apocalypse, players defend Earth's deep space mining bases by piloting experimental starfighters in full 3D dogfights, while managing research, resources and pilot squadrons between missions. The series' most action oriented entry, blending the X-COM strategy layer with Wing Commander style combat.
